Dual Credit Program | Get a head start on College

Bending Oaks has partnered with Richland College, part of the Dallas County Community college family, to offer dual enrollment for our students. Dual enrollment can be advantageous to students because it allows them to get a head start on their college careers.

Here’s how it works: A Junior or Senior, with a light course load, could take morning classes at Bending Oaks, and afternoon College courses at Richland. When they pass the courses, they receive both high school and college credit. Because the school day at Bending Oaks ends at 2:45. Students often sign-up for classes at 3:30, so their school day doesn’t have to go into the evening.

Bending Oaks is the best school my son (and his parents) have ever experienced. With four children, and moving many times all over the States and once out of the States, we have gone through EIGHTEEN different private schools. No question about it: Bending Oaks is the best of the best.

BOHS is still playing a pivotal role in building up my son’s self esteem after an emotional crisis he had three tears ago. With the love and expertise of his parents, his therapists and the teachers and administrators of Bending Oaks, my son is starting to shine again. God bless the amazing people that make BOHS possible!
